Lakpa Sherpa climbing Mount Everest for the 10th time

28 March, Kathmandu. Climber Lakpa Sherpa is about to climb Mount Everest for the 10th time.
On Monday in Kathmandu, the Nepal Mountaineers Association handed over the flag of Nepal and bade farewell to him for climbing Mount Everest.

In the program, the climber Lakpa said that the next Everest climb will inspire Nepali women not to shy away from any work and they can do any work.

He believed that after climbing the mountain for the 10th time, Nepal will gain respect and prestige in Nepal and abroad. She said that climbers also need to play a role in making the mountains clean by reducing the waste in the mountains.

Climber Lakpa said that she wants to climb Mount Everest like record climber Adam Hillary. With a team of 39 people, including 15 American climbers, Lakpa is going to Everest as a guide.

Makaluki Lakpa of Sankhuwasabha first successfully climbed Mount Everest in 2000. Then in the years 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2016, 2017 and 2018, she successfully climbed Mount Everest. So far, she had climbed Mount Everest from the south and north directions.

Lakpa has so far climbed Mount Everest 1 time from the Nepal side and 8 times from the China side. Lakpa is scheduled to leave for the base camp of Everest on April 15 for the 10th Mount Everest climb.
